Touch Bible was meant to be a free program from the beginning. However, offering modern translations and notes is no small undertaking by today's publishers.
They have to hire highly skilled translators, gain access to numerous manuscripts, and ever-so-carefully translate the words. Combine that with translation notes and
study notes and you have a major undertaking that costs millions of dollars. It is impossible to offer these for free. As with anything, the job is never finished.
